Downsizing To Go Rogue
I still remember the feeling that went through my body while I sat on my bedroom floor, as I sorted my personal belongings into two piles. Sadness, anger, disappointment, everything but happiness. It seemed to be a neverending rippling effect of emotions. One emotion would cause another emotion to surface, which then led another emotion to emerge, so on and so forth. When I had finally finished sorting through all of my inanimate objects, I stared at the two piles. Both were drastically different in size and frankly, the bigger one was headed to my local Goodwill the next morning. More than half my clothes was leaving my possession, so was three-quarters of my shoes, and the entirety of my furniture. Why?
